We are looking for Machine Learning Engineer who will be a part of the team that builds products and solutions enabling clients to detect financial crime activity found in their data in a scalable and comprehensive way. 

Machine Learning Engineer

Job specification:

  • Industry: Cyber Security, Financial Crime
  • Type of project: develop and support financial crime and compliance products 
  • Location: Poznań
  • Remote work: currently 100% remote work due to COVID19
  • Project language: English/Polish
  • Assignment start: ASAP 

Project scope:

  • Extend and support Analytics Platform and grow data science and software development skills
  • Learn the financial fraud and compliance domains and gain a deep understanding of the problems that Financial Institutions need solving
  • Work within the development team to build new capability into high-quality standards
  • Support and resolve product issues and defects
  • Grow understanding of data science and its application to solving real world problems
  • Build software development skills to support products and analytical methods, such as Python, Java
  • Learn the software development lifecycle from a product perspective
  • Support internal teams in using products to deliver benefits to clients
  • Join and contribute to our professional communities

Competence demands:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or Mathematics related field
  • Experience of software development lifecycle
  • Specific languages Java, Python, R or statistical tools e.g. SAS
  • Experience working with Spark and big data
  • Experience working in a scrum team
  • Knowledge of data science: Classification, Unsupervised, working with unknowns and highly imbalanced data
  • Experience working on data science projects
  • Interest in data science and machine learning
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Fluent English
