Commercial Energy Advisor

The Embassy of Denmark in Warsaw is looking for a dedicated and dynamic Commercial Energy Advisor with demonstrated knowledge of the energy market in Poland. The position is to support foreign businesses’ activities in Poland in relation to primary renewables within the Embassy's energy & environment team.
You will be a Commercial Energy Advisor. Most of your assignments will be focused on the development of strategic level positioning of energy experience and company strongholds. You will be advising foreign companies on business and sales opportunities and advising them on relevant market and sales strategies in the Polish market on a consultancy basis. Furthermore, you will also get the opportunity to develop business strategies and public affairs activities.

Requirements:

• A degree in Political Science, Business Administration, Engineering and/or other commercially oriented graduate degree;
• In-depth knowledge of the energy market in Poland, in particular with regard to renewable energy sources, biomethane, electricity system regulation and green gases;
• Good understanding of EU regulations, support schemes, the political situation and legislative changes;
• Ability to write and interpret formal documents, market reports, project reports in English;
• Skills in business development and implementation of new solutions and technologies;
• Flexibility in terms of travel;
• Excellent command of Polish and English;
• High personal culture, ability to work independently;
