Your new role

The overall job objective for a Junior General Ledger Junior Accountant is to assist and support the General Ledger team on daily operations within accounting, mainly focusing on updating cost prices.

To support the General Ledger team on the following tasks:

  • Account reconciliation and resolving differences
  • Trial Balance adjustments
  • Intercompany Balances - booking of reimbursements and general reconciliations
  • Inventory adjustment and update cost prices
  • Internal/external audit support
  • Manage and maintain fixed assets
  • VAT and Transactional Tax accounting /reporting incl. other external reporting such as Intrastat

What you'll need to succeed

  • Background: Student within accounting, financial operations or similar areas.
  • Experience: Any relevant experience in accounting and finance operations is beneficial.
  • Fluent English, additional Scandinavian language or German as an added value.
  • Personal Competences: collaboration, adaptability, team player, reliability, problem-solver, initiative, continuous improvement.
  • Professional competences: attention to detail, time management, basic accounting knowledge, communication, compliance and strong numerical aptitude for accurate calculations, reconciliations, and financial analyses.
