Payroll Specialist with German
- Ensuring payroll deadlines are met
- Supporting Payroll Specialists in processing payrolls in a given geographical scope
- Managing the end-to-end process for the Payroll
- Managing month-end duties
- Liaising with employees/managers/HR/Payroll providers and other third parties on a daily basis
- Participating in continuous improvement opportunities
- Performing monthly payroll checks and controls
- Ensuring compliance of payroll, providing advice to management on payroll initiatives, changes etc.
- Working with various payroll providers on complex topics, assisting the finance department with accounting matters and supporting junior colleagues
- Any other ad hoc duties that may come up
- 2+ years of Payroll/Finance experience
- German language knowledge (min. C1+)
- German Payroll Experience would be an asset
- Finance/Accounting knowledge or experience required
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. Able to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Proficient in oral and written communication skills
- Tackles tough problems with firm deadlines
