Senior Revenue Accountant

We are seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to join our Client team. In this role, you will be responsible for daily, monthly, and quarterly advertising revenue accounting, ensuring compliance with IFRS/US GAAP and company policies. Collaboration with key stakeholders in FP&A and audit, managing SOX controls, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives are essential aspects of this position.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day, month-end, and quarter-end close activities, encompassing journal entries, account reconciliations, balance sheet flux analysis, SOX control documentation, and SEC Reporting deliverables.
• Execute revenue cut-off procedures to guarantee accurate recording for the period.
• Foster strong internal partnerships with accounting, finance, and other business departments.
• Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to enhance accounts and revenue processes continually.
• Engage in professional development and non-core business activities.
• Support internal and external audits as required.
• Proactively grasp the business and upstream processes for effective accounting and identify efficiencies.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of accounting experience with a robust understanding of IFRS and/or US GAAP and SOX 404 requirements.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or finance, with international environment experience and a focus on revenue recognition.
• ACCA, CPA, or PIBR part qualification is advantageous.
• Previous experience with Big 4 is a plus.
• Proficient in IFRS/US GAAP, SAP, and/or People Soft.
• Advanced Excel and PC skills.
• Quick learner with meticulous attention to detail.
• Results-oriented with the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to foster positive working relationships across the organization.
