Senior System Administrator

Your new role

The System Administrator ensures the stable, secure, and efficient operation of the company's IT infrastructure. The role is responsible for maintaining and supporting core systems and services to meet business and compliance requirements, with a strong focus on operational reliability, performance, and service continuity. This includes proactively identifying and resolving system issues, supporting incident resolution, and contributing to continuous improvement of IT operations.

Main responsibilities:

• Ensure stable and secure operation of infrastructure components (servers, storage, operating systems, etc.)
• Perform daily system monitoring, verification of system availability, and review of system and application logs
• Conduct 2nd level support and act as escalation point for incidents unresolved by 1st level support
• Maintain and manage system back-up routines and disaster recovery readiness
• Participate in on-call duty rotation to support business-critical operations outside regular hours
• Patch management and coordination of updates for operating systems and core services
• Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve issues and ensure seamless IT operations
• Participate in technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Maintain system documentation and operational procedures in accordance with regulatory and audit requirements (e.g., GxP compliance)
• Contribute to infrastructure improvement initiatives and automation of routine tasks

What you'll need to succeed

• Solid knowledge of Microsoft product portfolio.
• Experience with system monitoring tools and backup technologies
• Understanding of ITIL processes and structured incident/change/problem handling
• Familiarity with VMWare virtualization platform, storage systems, Active Directory and EntraID
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and ability to apply security best practices in daily operations
• Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., GxP, ISO standards) is an advantage
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
