For our client, we are currently looking for a Structural Engineer.

When necessary, you translate the obtained results into dedicated recommendations to improve the mechanical design from a structural point of view. This is in close collaboration with the mechanical design team.
  • Your core task is to verify structures against various launch and orbital loads via simple hand calculations/ spreadsheets and FEMAP Nastran. The performed analysis must be properly documented via structural analysis and trade-off reports. The structural engineer is responsible for the management of the created FEM models to ensure traceability of the various performed analyses and calculations.
  • Further, you will take the lead in the preparation, execution, and reporting of structural tests. You correlate the test results with your analysis models and provide support in finding root causes when issues arise during testing.
