Chief Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Chief Accountant who will join our client – a production company with a Scandinavian work culture. The company is located in Czaplinek.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead the accounting team.
• Handle full accounting records according to accounting standards.
• Responsibility for local regulatory reporting (monthly, quarterly, yearly reports) – including tax returns and annual reports.
• Month-end process management (like Inventory Valuation, settlement of MR Revenues, Fixed Assets registration).
• Relations with external institutions and government bodies, preparation of reports to the Central Statistical Office and to the NBP.
• The financial audit process management, preparation of financial statements.
• Preparation of financial information for management, on a periodic basis as well as ad-hoc as needed.

Required skills & experience:

• University degree in Accounting (or similar finance related).
• Familiarity with Polish accounting standards, deep knowledge of tax regulations.
• Previous experience in a similar role or over 5 years' experience in an independent position in accounting, ideally in a production environment.
• Advanced MS Office skills, particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel and literacy of the ERP system.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English (daily communication).
• Strong communication skills, ability to communicate in a multinational environment.
• The ability to work reliably and independently under deadline pressure.
