Global TAX/ VAT Specialist
For international company with SSC located in Kraków, we are currently building a new team. We are looking for a person for the position of Global TAX/VAT Specialist with fluent knowledge of English.
You will be responsible for:
- VAT End-to-End process coordination (quality review, report submission, payment, reconciliation)
- monthly/Quarterly VAT returns reconciliation to the General Ledger
- assistance to process teams on correct Tax treatment/ VAT coding
- replying to any questions from external providers and Tax Authorities regarding VAT
- assistance in the preparation of internal & external audit requests and respond to queries
- reviewing VAT accounts reconciliations purposes ensuring all differences are explained before final review of supervisor
- coordinating implementation of required changes introduced by the tax legislation
- cooperation with local finance departments.
We are looking for:
- bachelor's degree in a business-related field, with emphasis in finance, accounting, or tax.
- minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting and tax reporting experience in Finance Shared Services.
- ability to collaborate in a global team environment.
- detail oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- knowledge of international tax accounting and reporting under US GAAP or IFRS.
- practical knowledge of Excel
- excellent written and verbal communication skills in English languages (min. B2).
